The open online course [https://learn.opengeoedu.de/en OpenGeoEdu] is funded by the German government and consists of multiple parts, which can be freely combined. Each part of the course consists of a theoretical substructure (usually designed as a lecture with a knowledge test at the end of the course) and a practical exercise part, which usually covers the entire processing chain from searching for open data, to preparation, analysis and visualization of the results. The exercises are constructed as case studies. You will go through a geoprocessing chain, learn about selected analysis functions and produce the results, e.g. in the form of thematic maps, which you will then analyse and interpret in the context of the research question. Lecture and exercise parts are completely freely available.
